Welcome to another band feature. This time I'd like to draw your attention to a very fascinating japanese music act, extremely visual and trancy ... Schwarz Stein.
The band was founded in 2001 by Kaya and Hora (former Velvet Eden) under the name Rudolf Steiner which later became Schwarz Stein. In 2003 they already disbanded due to musical differences, having 2 albums released.
Their sound is a combination of electronic trance like patterns and Kaya's powerful deep voice. Combined with gorgeous costumes and alot of gadgets like an visually modified synthesizer they guranteed an unforgetable experience on concerts. There was a big hype about them even so they only officially worked two years together as Schwarz Stein.
Malice Mizer's guitarist Mana supported them and signed them under his label Midi:Nette, after he happend to see them on one of their concerts. Rumors said that Kaya and Hora should replace Juka and Kazuno from Moi dix Mois, but that never happend. They used to be supporting act for Moi dix Mois and D'espairs Ray.
In 2006 they released another album - Another Cell, but it can't be considerd as a revival. Both are now doing solo projects or collaborations with other artists.
